You will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments /or tests for diagnostic purposes.
To be successful as a psychologist, you should have a strong passion for helping patients overcome and manage their mental health.
Top candidates will be excellent listeners and communicators.
Responsibilities:
Recommend rehabilitation or intervention programs to overcome addiction issues Provide complete documentation and records of assessments and treatments according to in-house policies Coordinate with other child health experts, like child protection workers, pediatricians and social workers, to facilitate and ensure the patients' psychological development Organize educational programs to inform adolescents or teenagers about the repercussions of high-risk behaviors and ways to adjust to them Address issues such as depression, bullying, various mental health issues and learning difficulties in children by providing appropriate psychological intervention Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders Develop treatment plans based on the needs of the child Provide individual, family, and group therapy Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Provide crisis intervention and referrals to community resources Remain informed of developments in the field of child psychology Participate in research and other professional development activities as needed Requirements and skills:
Proven work experience as a Child Psychologist or similar role Must be approachable and empathic so children will be comfortable working with you Knowledge of different therapeutic methods and the ability to switch between different approaches to meet each child's needs Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate with children of different ages and from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds Ph.

in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology A valid state license to practice psychology Minimum two years of experience working with children and families Knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques and evidence-based treatments Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and assessment skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Able to work with a diverse population of children and families Commitment to providing quality patient care Job Types:
