Barn Manager/Caretaker
Quick Apply Full-time 2 hours ago Full Job Description Barn Manager/Caretaker We are looking for a non-smoking Jack/Jill of all tradessomeone to help with our 6 horses and taking care of our small farm including 2 dogs.
Responsibilities would include Feeding, mucking and turn-out of horses Lunging, riding and exercising horses Grooming horses Haul hay and other supplies for the farm.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
to 75 lbs.
repeatedly You must be able to identify sick or injured horses--the ability to perform minor veterinarian tasks, bandaging, administering medications, wormers, and vaccinations Assist with property maintenance including mowing weed whacking, shoveling snow, etc.
Order supplies, equipment, and feed Help with whatever needs to be done.
This is a long-term, full-time position.
Housing available on site.
Horse knowledge and experience is required.
